Halloween Eyes by Parker Mageropoulos, Class of 2026

Lurking on Halloween
by Aubriella Sweich, Class of 2025

It's watching, lurking near

Yes, it's fear, too real, too clear

It's midnight dreary, the darkness, eerie

Yes, I'm alone, I tremble, queasy.

It's this evil presence, I don't know, I cannot ignore

My heart racing, pounding, evermore

Praying for safety with deep breaths

Until this nightmare soon ends in death

OR

Two Men
by Anthony Liederman, Class of 2026

They sat on a log in the dark,

Two men, injured and torn apart,

One earthling, the other inhumane,

Mutated and fearsome, cowering in pain

Quintessential fear they cannot escape,

Their fate inevitable, their spirits take

A journey into the wonderland

As they face the terror, hand-in-hand
