Candy Land by Alexis Quade, Class of 2026

Candy Land
Poem by Fifth Period and Arthur Ignatious

Watercolor skies, neon green grass,

A path snakes through the small hills from a child's hands.

Melting sun, sorbet, taffy, pastoral,

A landscape sweetly painted by nature's whims.

In this realm of hues, where colors bleed,

Sugar's essence whispers Candy Land's decree.

Cheaters and liars hide in the color,

As innocence dances unseen, undercover.
