Studying plays an important role at college. A lesson is 2.5 hours which is expected that students study that amount of time out of class along with completing any homework.
Each course has independent homework which needs to be completed before upcoming lessons.
If you are using sites such as BKSB or Mathswatch, you need to complete the homework assigned to you.
Aim to set yourself 2 hours each week out of class or a small bit of time during the week to study e.g 30 minutes at 8pm every other day.
Look back at the slides of the lesson on Google Classroom and any other resources.
Students that attend all classes and complete homework are more likely to succeed.
Use study resources to revise and attend homework clubs whenever you can.
You should have folders and notebooks to make notes in class or to write your college account and passwords e.g BKSB and Mathswatch.
Use AI to act as your personal teacher when a teacher is not available.
There is also TextHelp which you can install a Chrome add-on to make accessing text more accessible for you.
Remember to fill your online weekly student record after classes.
