Le Bocage International School

Welcome to Le Bocage International School (LBIS) Library. This Library serves as the hub of the school with its key focus being quality support of teaching and learning. This active space is welcoming and designed to cater for 21st century teaching and learning. The inviting environment makes students and all other stakeholders feel at home, away from home.

The library endeavours to transform users through provision of information resources, collaborative platforms and inquiry based learning hence nurturing global solution providers.

We encourage relaxed reading for fun; urge users write book reviews and send recommendations to colleagues within the LBIS community. Please feel free to maximize this library facility and to make it your home away from home.

The library supports research based activities by encouraging students to become critical and creative thinkers, independent, ethical and solution providers. We value inquiry based processes and greatly honour academic integrity. Library staff are available to support teaching and learning within the school’s multicultural setup.

Being a 21st century library, this facility provides internet/wifi access to all its users, even as internet provision is spread all across the campus facility. The library hosts 25 desktop computers for users to access and aid in doing research work, assignments, emails, etc.

Reprographic services available in the library include colour or black printing, photocopying and scanning.
