The Kindergarten to Grade 2 students all had the opportunity to listen to this amazing book read by Mrs. Byron allowing them to open up their minds to new and creative ideas.
1st we used our table groups to act out what imaginations told us the stick could be. We let our group members guess what they thought we were acting out. What it a fishing rod? A wand? A lollipop? A drum stick?
Then, we got to work putting our ideas on paper through drawing a second idea of what we imagined our sticks could be.
