Color Monster

When your emotions are all jumbled up how do you sort them out?

The color monster helps us to learn to identify & express our emotions in a healthy way.

Coloring our Emotions

  1. What are some of the emotions that you feel on a regular basis?

  2. Write one down on a small white piece of paper

  3. Now take a crayon and color your small piece of paper the first color that pops into your mind when thinking of this emotion.

  4. Now place them on a color wheel to see all of the emotions and how people put different colors to different emotions!

We used air dry clay to create our monsters that represented our chosen emotion.

Mrs. Byron taught some clay sculpting techniques to make mouths, tails, ears, and eyes!
