Devices that are being collected over breaks but will be returned to their assigned students when they return, can be collected and dispersed using the collect and disperse workflows. This process will mark the devices as collected or dispersed, but maintain the student or staff assignments.
Access the Device Collection screen from the Devices tab.
Type or scan in Device Asset Tag.
Click “Collect” or “Collect with Incident”
“Collect with Incident” will both collect the device and create an incident.
Results will appear in the collection log.
The Collection Log can be exported with the “Export to CSV” button.
