RSS Baseball Academy

Students enrolled in SD23 have a unique opportunity to participate in a program that allows them to develop and improve their baseball skills and gain course credits.

RSS Baseball Academy is based on a number of principles:

• Strictly supplementary to Minor Baseball

• To provide additional training for minor baseball players

• Focused on individual skill development and academic achievement

• This program applies to any student, male or female, grade 9-12 throughout SD23.

Each student selected into the program will be assisted in planning of course selection based on individual academic goals. Students will earn 4 course credits for participation in the RSS Baseball Academy. Instruction is provided through well trained instructors. The program will run in First Semester for 5 months beginning in September each year​. Students from other Central Okanagan schools can participate by cross-enrolling into the RSS Baseball Academy class and building it into their home school schedule. Once a students application is received the student is cross-enrolled and their home school admin team is notified.

Please Note: To ensure that fees and deposits do not prohibit student participation, the Board will facilitate fair and confidential procedures to allow participation by students who would otherwise be excluded. Please contact the RSS Principal to discuss and explore options to recover the fees.
