Here is how Melanie Charest and I let our students choose a way to present their learning that is interesting to them. We invite them to think about where their strengths lie and how to use them, and also if there is a skill they want to develop.
We don't give this many choices at every turn, but we will select a bunch that make sense for the projects we are doing. Also, the students come back to them throughout the year.
