Grade 5 Year-end Celebration!!!
Grade 5 Year-end Celebration!!!
Time: 6:00 – 7:30 PM (Students should arrive by 5:30 PM to meet at their outside classroom door)
Attire: Casual but polished – examples include summer dresses, khaki shorts, or short-sleeve button-up shirts.
Each student will be individually recognized on stage, and the evening will be led by our fantastic student MCs. Following the ceremony, there will be a small social with light refreshments and plenty of opportunities for photos with classmates, families, and staff. If you plan to bring extended family members beyond your immediate household, please let us know in advance so we can ensure accommodations are made for all guests. Please note that there will not be tickets given out for this event.

A fun time was had by all our indigenous grade 4 and 5 students that participated in the Siya Festival.

Students from Mrs. Hanson & Mrs. Marsich's classes designed various bubble wands out of pipe cleaners with Mrs. Hardman in ADST and tested them out!

Sportball Fun Day!!!!
On Wednesday, June 18, our entire school student population participated in Sportball Okanagan day of FUN SPORT. Our classes enjoyed a series of sessions lead by the coaches of Sportball. They learned about all things hockey, baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and football! The coaches came with GREAT energy and enthusiasm. Sportball shared that our students were “some of the kindest kids I’ve ever met”!! Such an beautiful compliment to our school community! A big thank you to PAC for their support in cost sharing this experience with us! We’ll definitely bring Sportball Okanagan back again!

Board Policy 421 – Sanctuary Schools (see www.sd23.bc.ca) upholds the Board's commitment to providing educational opportunities for all students who are ordinarily resident in the Central Okanagan, including those with precarious immigration status or no immigration status.
