I would like to welcome everyone to École Kelowna Secondary School, which we gratefully acknowledge is on the traditional and unceded territory of the Okanagan Syilx People.

Kelowna Secondary is proud to host the 2022 BCSS Boys AAA Volleyball Provincial Championships.

Thank you to all the athletes, coaches, support personnel, family members and volunteers for the time and commitment that it takes to prepare your teams and and run such an event. Congratulations to all the teams who qualified for this tournament; it takes countless hours of hard work, dedication and sacrifice to qualify for a championship, and a whole team to make it happen.

We wish all athletes good luck and good health for this tournament and hope that you enjoy your experience as much as we have hosting it. Have fun, play hard and take home some great memories.

Play with sportsmanship, give it your best, and you can leave the tournament with your heads held high. For those of you who are visitors to our community, we hope you will travel back to the Okanagan Valley when you can truly enjoy all of the natural wonders, and the many seasonal amenities and activities our region has to offer. Central Okanagan is truly a world class vacation location during any season.

Congratulations to the tournament committee and the entire Kelowna Secondary School staff and community. You deserve recognition for the sacrifices that you have made to provide this opportunity to these fortunate student athletes and their fans. We sincerely hope that the players who are here representing their schools will reflect back on this weekend in the months and years to come as one of the most memorable experiences of their high school years.
