The original Bobcat Bowl tournament started in 2004, hosting 8 Junior Varsity teams from Calgary and Edmonton. The next year the tournament was expanded to include 8 Senior Varsity teams, making it one of the biggest tournaments in Calgary.

In 2019, All Saints High School opened and had its inaugural season. The following year, All Saints combined its resources with Bishop O'Byrne to have the first ever Legendary Bobcat Bowl! This year the tournament will be 16 senior teams and 12 junior teams
