Food Studies is a course designed to teach students about food and nutrition in an academic and practical setting. Students examine the role of food, looking beyond consumption to production, visual appreciation, nutrition, meal planning, economics, and preparation. It provides students with opportunities to learn personal cooking skills to use at home or for those who are looking to pursue a career in Culinary Arts.
