High School Credit

High school courses taken while a student is in middle school do not count toward the student's GPA. Only credit is transferred. This is true whether the student is (a) physically at WMS taking an LISD high school credit course (i.e. Spanish I, Algebra 1, Geometry, Art 1), (b) physically at RHS taking the course via LISD, or (c) the student is taking the course virtually through correspondence. High school credit courses taken through LISD summer school between the student's 8th and 9th grade year will count toward the student's high school GPA. Correspondence courses will still only count toward credit.
