Hello! I am Mr. Saavedra and I am the Physical Education teacher at Whitestone Elementary. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX and completed my Masters of Education degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I taught Fourth and Fifth grade bilingual education for two years and have taught P.E. at Whitestone since 2003.
My wife, Jenny, and I have two daughters. Our daughters attended Whitestone from K-5th and now attend Leander Middle School and Leander High School. In our free time we enjoy going to sporting events, attending our daughters' activities, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
