Lunch Bunch is an option presented to Stiles students during their lunch period. Students can choose to eat in the library provided they follow Lunch Bunch guidelines. It is designed to provide 30 minutes of quiet time during the day to recharge emotional batteries and/or get work done.
Some students find the environment in the cafeteria to be unpleasant. It can be loud and a little chaotic. If you aren't a fan of the cafeteria environment, you might enjoy Lunch Bunch in the library. Lunch Bunch is NOT for everyone. If you like to visit, joke, and laugh with friends during lunch, you would not enjoy Lunch Bunch and you should stay in the cafeteria. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with having fun during lunch, we try to maintain a much quieter environment in the library for those who really need 30 minutes of down time during the day.
Lunch Bunch Rules/Guidelines
- Bring a lunch to eat.
- Bring a book to read or an assignment to work on.
- This is not the time or place to visit with friends.
- You must clean up the tables, chairs, and floor around your area before leaving for class. This includes wiping the table down with a damp paper towel and cleaning the floor of any food or crumbs that fell.
Students unable to follow the guidelines will be asked to leave and try again another day if they want. Students who have to be asked to leave on a regular basis will lose the privilege of participating in Lunch Bunch.
