Rouse High School
Rouse Counseling Department Calendar
It is our goal, as guidance counselors, to assist your student in attaining the skills needed to develop his or her full educational potential. This assistance is offered through a guidance curriculum provided to all students, responsive services provided to those students with immediate personal concerns, and an individual planning system used to guide and monitor educational development. In addition, guidance counselors offer system support to enhance the efforts of teachers, staff, and parents in promoting educational opportunities, career goals, personal needs, and social development of students. At no time will we, as counselors, engage in therapy or use techniques therapeutic in nature which are not appropriate to the public school setting. We do not provide individual or family therapy.
When school personnel and parents work together, we have a winning combination for our teens. All students deserve to reach their potential, and together we can make this happen.
Students may stop by the counseling office during the school day and fill out a request to schedule an appointment. Meeting Request Link. Parents may email or call their student's counselor to schedule an appointment or a phone conference. Matters of urgency will be given priority.
