College Visits at Leander
College & Career Campus Visits - For Students
Click on the title of the visit to access the Google registration form. Deadline to register is the day before the visit or when attendance reaches max capacity, whichever comes first.
Once you're signed up, you'll receive an email the day before the visit reminding you of the time and location. If it's scheduled during PRIDE Time, you'll receive a note reminder to attend (with teacher permission), go to the indicated location and we'll post your attendance - no need to sign up in the Portal. All visits are open to 10th-12th grade students, but freshmen can email Mrs. Wood directly for permission to be added to a visit.
Not really sure what you want to be when you grow up? The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is a FREE test administered to all interested 10th-12th grade students. The ASVAB program facilitates career planning and exploration, combining a multiple-aptitude test with an interest self-assessment and wide range of career exploration tools. Students interested in the military absolutely should take this test, yet it is open to any student who simply is wanting more career guidance.
The test is set to take place on Thursday, November 1, 2018 or Thursday, March 14, 2019 starting at 8:40 AM, and ending approximately 12:30 PM. This is a regular school day, meaning students will be missing all morning class periods to take the exam (an excused absence). Please check with coaches/sponsors about schedule flexibility prior to registering.
