General Information and FAQs

Hi there,

The Leander Journalism Department is closed for the summer.

We are so excited the yearbook is here and really proud of the students’ work. Please remember the yearbook is not a professional publication - it is created by students who are learning design and production. Please watch what you say and post on social media. While we make every effort to produce a yearbook free of errors, there are bound to be some mistakes and misspellings. We apologize for these errors. However, we do not refund money for any errors.

Please read this message carefully, as I’ve made an effort to answer frequently asked questions for you here.

Forgot to pick up your book?

Any other summer I would tell you to stop by the front office and pick up your students yearbook! However, this year both the front office and my yearbook room have been packed up and placed in storage for room renovations. I’m sorry. They will be available for pick up in August when the school returns from summer vacation. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Shipping yearbooks?

Unfortunately, we don’t ship. It’s way to costly and not a service we provide at this time.

Lost books CANNOT be replaced. We encourage students to write their name inside the cover in permanent marker.

Misspelled Names

Unfortunately, this happens and we apologize. However, all names are given to us by the school registrar and Photo Texas photography. Once portraits and names are received we print them and place them in a binder that is then placed on a desk in the room for students to come in and double check the spelling of their names. Announcements were also made for an ENTIRE month asking students to stop by room 2320 and double check the spelling of their names.

Missing portraits

deadline for senior portraits was Dec. 14 any portraits received after that day are not guaranteed to make it into the yearbook. We have deadlines we have to meet.

Unknown Student

Please contact the campus registrar. We have no control over this.

Discounts Code

We don’t have one. This is an LISD policy.

Student Withdrawn

Starting the afternoon of May 16 - May 31. Parents of students who no longer attend Leander will be able to pick up their students yearbook in the front office. Parents will be required to show ID and sign for the book. Please send email with the name of the student and who will be picking up the book. Shipping yearbooks? We don’t ship. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!
