Attention 4th & 5th Grade Parents/Guardians:
Leander ISD 4th and 5th grade students are about to study an important lesson on the early stages of puberty which some students may be beginning to experience. In order for students to participate, parents must complete an OPT-IN form for their child.
At Hisle Elementary, students will watch the videos listed below on 5/8/26. While watching the videos, students will be separated by grade level and gender. If you are interested in previewing the videos they are linked below:
4th Grade Girls “Just Around the Corner for Girls”
4th Grade Boys “Just Around the Corner for Boys”
5th Grade Girls “Growing Up! For Girls”
5th Grade Boys-“Growing Up! For Boys"
The videos review the following topics:
Reproductive systems
Health and nutrition
Hygiene and grooming
Self esteem
Physical changes
Emotional changes
If you would like your 4th/5th Grade Student to participate in the Puberty Lesson.
