About Workshop
About Workshop
The workshop classroom seeks to meet learners where they are as readers and writers. Each day, students will participate in mini-lessons, self-sustained reading and writing, and whole-group shareouts. In small-group lessons, the teacher fills gaps in student understanding and provides enrichment for those ready to extend their learning. Students gain valuable feedback while conferring with the teacher and collaborating with peers, and the classroom functions as a community of learners working together to sharpen their craft.
