2018-2019 Events for CRMS Cheer

Sept 11th-Oct 30th (No game Oct 9th)- Football Games (Info under Fall info.)

Tuesday's: 9/11, 9/18, 9/15, 10/2, 10/9-no game, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30

Sept 5th- Cups and Cones orders are due (you will pay online with the link in Fall info.) (Optional)

Sept 14th (8th grade only-optional)- Middle School Night (Info under Fall info.)

Oct 10th (Mandatory-ALL)- VHS Homecoming Performance (Info under Fall info.)

Sept 25th (During class and after school before game)- Cheerleading Photos

December TBA- Holiday Party

Dec 3rd-Jan 28th (Cheerleaders will sign up in a Google Doc later)- Basketball Begins

March 6th at 7pm- 2019-2020 Cheer Parent and Candidate meeting (info. below)

April 13th(Saturday & Mandatory)- Spring Showcase (Info under Spring Info.)

Event: Cheer Candidate and Parent Meeting

Date: March 6, 2018 (Wednesday)

Details: All 6th & 7th grade parents & students (new and returning) MUST attend the meeting to be eligible to be a cheerleader for the 2019-2020 school year

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: CRMS Cafeteria -Side of school Cafeteria doors will open at 6:45pm

Event: Cheer Paperwork Due

Date: March 29, 2018 (Friday)

Details: All cheer paperwork is due to Coach Steffen (no exceptions)

Time: 4:05 p.m.

Location: Room 0133

Event: Cheer Clinic

Date: TBA

Details: 6th & 7th grade cheer clinic for the 2017 - 2018 school year. Clinic is closed to the public. Girls will run the mile the first two days of clinic and learn mock tryout material.

Clothes: Hair neatly pulled up in a ponytail, solid colored athletic shorts, plain white t-shirt, white shoes/tennis shoes and white socks. No jewelry allowed.

Time: 4:15 - 5:30 pm

Event: Uniform/Camp Clothes Fittings

Details: All payments are due at fittings.

UCA Summer Cheer Camp- TBA

Uniform and camp clothes payments-CC or check to Varsity for Tammy Jones. You will sign up on a Google Doc for this event.

Event: Stunt Clinic (Mandatory)

Details: TBA(cost) for this event and girls will wear school colors and cheer shoes. Make the TBA check out to CRMS Cheer. Your cheerleader's first and last name, phone number and DL number on the memo line.

Event: Cheer Camp (Mandatory) -No exceptions per LISD Cheer Handbook and for safety purposes.

Time: 8:45am-4:45pm

Details: Cost TBA(about $125) Check made out to CRMS Cheer, your cheerleader’s first and last name in the memo place, Phone Number and DL number. ($TBA- for Camp due at fittings)
