How to get help after you've read the basic troubleshooting.
HOW TO GET HELP FOR YOUR COMPUTER....
ALL students have been trained (via the modules) on how to seek help for their comptuers. Parents should not email for an appt, walk them in, or "do it for them". We want students to learn how to be successful at finding help for themselves.
STEPS TO GET HELP:
- Talk to your teacher - can you fix it in class by following the flowchart (restarting on our network multiple times?)
- Come in early if you can and see a Techspert in the library between 8:15-8:45am
- Can't come in early? Ask any teacher (at an appropriate time) during school, to see a Techspert in room B112. This student-led group is housed in the Gateway classroom. Techsperts will assess the problem, give you a loaner and create a ticket if the problem requires that.
**All issues that cannot be solved in the above steps will be escalated to Technology. Students will receive a loaner while their computer is being repaired.
