8th to 9th Grade Registration (2018)
Current 8th graders will receive high school choice sheets on:
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND, 2018
Students will meet with the Counselors from CPHS during their Science classes on that day to discuss 9th grade elective and core class options. Students will be given a registration packet to take home and fill out with their parent/guardian.
All choice sheets must be signed by parents and returned to the student's Science teacher by TBD.
Steps to Register for Courses
Step 1: Students will meet with the Counselors from CPHS during their Science class on Friday, February 2nd and receive a registration packet.
Step 2: Students will take home their registration packet and with their parent/guardian, they will make choice selections on the choice sheet and parents will sign.
Step 3: IMPORTANT- Student returns parent signed choice sheet back to their Science teacher by TBD.

8th Grade Parent Night at CPHS
Cedar Park High School will be hosting an 8th Grade Parent Night on TBD from 6:00-8:00 pm at CPHS.

IB Diploma Program Information Night
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is a college preparatory program designed to challenge students academically and encourage them to become lifelong learners. The IB Diploma Program in LISD is offered at Leander High School and Vandegrift High School.
A brief description about IB will be given during the parent presentations at the district-wide 8th grade parent nights throughout the month of January at your student's feeder high school. In addition, a more in-depth IB Parent Meeting will be offered at Leander High School on January 30th at The Commons OR at Vandegrift High School on February 20th in Bldg 2 for any parent wanting additional information about the IB Diploma Program at LHS or VHS.
