Each year, CPMS hosts two academic bees on campus. We host the Scripps National Spelling Bee School Round in the fall semester, and the National Geographic Geography Bee classroom and school rounds at the beginning of the spring semester. Both bees are nationally recognized. In the past, we've sent our school champions to the regional rounds for the Spelling Bee and to the state rounds of the Geography Bee, beaming with Leopard Pride!
For more information about either of these Bees, contact Ms. Sharma at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 2018 School Round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee was held on Tuesday, November 28th at 4:30 pm, in the Library.
We are pleased to announce our school champion, for the second year in a row: Eshan Bharadwaj!
Eshan represented CPMS in March at the Austin area round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

This year's School Round of the National Geographic Geography Bee was held on Thursday, January 18th at 4:30 pm, in the Library.
This year's school champion is: Riley Pritzlaff!
Riley represented CPMS in the state bee.
The classroom rounds of this bee usually take place the first week back to school from winter break. Each Social Studies classroom sends a champion to the school-wide bee and we go from there to find our Geography champion. The winner and first-runner up will be invited to the District Bee and the winner will test to qualify for the State-Wide Bee.
