Jennifer Colman is the Dean of Instruction at Cedar Park High School. The 2024-25 school year will be her 21st year at Cedar Park High School and 25th in Leander ISD. During her first four years at CPHS, she served as a grade level assistant principal. In her role as Dean of Instruction, some of her areas of responsibility include working with teachers and counselors on instructional issues, designing campus professional development, supporting the AVID, Advanced Placement and intervention programs and developing a master schedule.
Prior to being at Cedar Park High School, Mrs. Colman was a Social Studies teacher and Student Council sponsor at Leander High School. Before that, she taught Social Studies in Lewisville ISD (near Dallas) and in Louisiana, which is where she grew up.
Mrs. Colman obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Northwestern Louisiana and completed her educational administration certification at Texas State University. She and her husband have one son, Jackson, who is a CPHS graduate and a current college student. We also have two elderly cats, Sam and Pete.
