About Mrs. Roth
Mrs. Roth studied theatre at Cornell College and Brigham Young University, finally receiving a Bachelors of General Studies, with an emphasis in psychology in 2010. In 2015, Mrs. Roth earned her teaching certification through the Austin Community College program and began teaching at Canyon Ridge Middle School. She spent two years teaching 6th grade Math APS and serving as Assistant Director, helping with CRMS theatrical productions, before becoming the Theatre Arts teacher in 2017.
Highlights of Mrs. Roth's theatre career include roles in Into the Woods (Red Riding Hood's Granny), The Sound of Music (Sister Bertha), and Neil Simon's Rumors where her husband in the play eventually became her husband in real life. In 2015, Mrs. Roth acted as assistant director/director to help CRMS take a 3rd place victory at the UIL One Act Play contest. This summer, Mrs. Roth worked as Art Director for the Texas PTA Camp Just Imagine to produce The Lion King.
Mrs. Roth lives here in Steiner Ranch with her husband, three children, and Jimmy the dog. She enjoys playing ukulele, losing badly at pub trivia, and practicing her martial arts skills on unsuspecting targets.
