All About Me

Hi! I'm Ms. Blaszak and this is my 12th year teaching. I teach Study Lab, Earth Science, Environmental Science, IPC, and Astronomy.  I am also a robotics coach. 

A strange fact about me: I'm a rockhound. I have a huge collection of rocks, minerals, and gems. OK, I have a rock room in my house. I'm lucky to have a 2 1/2-car garage because my rocks and tools take up half the space. I also have a special collection of rare rocks, minerals, and gems. They are my pride and joy. My happy place is when I'm out rock hunting, spending time with my nephew, or on the beach. I stopped surfing two years ago after seeing 2 bullnose sharks within 6' of me.

Study Lab 

Study Lab is a class in which students can enhance skills that will allow them to be successful in both their academic and personal lives.  We will cover skills such as: setting goals, self-advocacy, organization, time management, note-taking, and test-taking.  Students will be expected to work on current assignments, study for upcoming assessments, and work on projects.
