These coupons give students access for a day to a fun activity of their choice such as Lunch Bunch, Free Seat Choice, Lose the Shoes, Fluffy Friend, and so on.
Students will earn stickers for good decisions. They can trade in their sticker chart to purchase class coupons.
When an entire table or row is following directions quickly, they will earn table points. The table(s) with the most points at the end of the week will earn a reward like a wobble stool or cushion to elevate their seating.
This is a school-wide individual incentive. Any staff member may give a student a Caught Doing the Right Thing ticket. Students will enter their ticket into a raffle, and prizes will be handed out on Spirit Rally days.
When the whole class is making responsible choices, they will earn a scoop of rice. When they have filled the jar, they can decide on a class-wide reward.
This is school-wide incentive, but for the whole class. When a staff member other than the classroom teacher notices an entire classroom making responsible decisions, they will reward the class with a Panther Point. When the class reaches a certain benchmark number of points, they will earn prizes like extra recess time or Popsicle parties.
Consequences:
1st Inappropriate Choice- Verbal warning from teacher.
2nd Inappropriate Choice- Student will take away sticker from their chart and a second verbal warning will be given from the teacher.
3rd Inappropriate Choice- Student will remove another sticker and fill out a classroom reflection form about their behavior.
4th Inappropriate Choice- Student will pay another sticker from their chart and teacher will step in to aid student in making better choices. This may include: parent contact, change of environment, loss of privilege, a trip to the office, etc.
