All students who have signed up for the full on-line program for the first semester will be assigned to a LCS teacher from Tarhe Trails or another school in the district. If your child is assigned to one of our teachers, his/her name will be posted on a class list on August 28th. If you child is assigned to a teacher in another building, then we will contact you by August 24th.
The district is providing a Chromebook and power cord for each student. When you enrolled, if you indicated that you didn't have internet service, a hotspot will also be provided. We have set up three dates for Chromebook pickup:
August 27th 8:15 - 4:15PM Grades K-2
August 28th 8:15 - 4:15PM Grades 3-5
August 31st reserved for those unable to pick up on the 27th or 28th
Commitment is for one semester
Teachers will contact parents to communicate the daily schedule
Students are expected to attend daily Zoom lessons and complete assignments
Families must commit to a Synchronous model
Create a space for student to work at home
Provide updated contact information to the school
Parents are available to help a student troubleshoot and gather materials for online learning
Your child will still be part of our Tarhe Trails community and we hope that you will be involved
Students that are signed up for the Online Program will need to attend daily live classes with the teacher
