I am in my ninth year of teaching 8th grade Science and 2nd year of teaching Project Lead the Way Design and Modeling at General Sherman Junior High in Lancaster, OH. I graduated from Ohio University -Lancaster in 2011, with a Bachelors in Middle Childhood Education with a concentration in Math and Science. I graduated with my Masters of Education in STEM Leadership in December 2020. In January 2020, I earned The National Certificate for STEM Teaching from the National Institute of STEM Education. In June 2020, I received a certificate from Project Lead the Way to teach Design and Modeling.
Prior to teaching, I worked as a Registered Sanitarian with the State of Ohio for nine years. I was a Registered Sanitarian with the state of Ohio for 13 years. I received my first Bachelors of Science degree in 2001 from Ohio University. I graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Health Science and a minor in Chemistry. I was selected as the 2001 Outstanding Graduate in Environmental Health sciences.
