Stephanie Ellis, M. Ed
About Me: Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I have been in the Carolinas for 20 years. Nineteen of those years were spent teaching 6th through 12th grade ELA, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, and Afro-American Writers. My husband and I have four children: an influencer on Instagram, a lawyer (who is currently teaching in middle school as well), a sales rep for Abbott and a senior at ILHS.
Purpose Statement
I serve students by helping them become lifelong learners and productive, responsible citizens. By doing this, I help Indian Land Middle School achieve its mission of setting high expectations through a comprehensive educational program that recognizes individual student needs, challenges them and prepares all students to become productive, responsible citizens of a diverse community.
Vision Statement
I have a dream to stay woke.
My dream is to enlighten, envision and motivate.
My dream is to bring lifelong learners and lifelong readers into today’s reality
To share the love of learning and collaborating
To connect and communicate with a generation that has given up

I have a dream to leave the world a better place than I entered it.
My dream is to use my gifts to create gifted learners and teachers, whether in the classroom or in life.
