COVID change: exclusion criteria for COVID now mirrors that of flu and other respiratory illnesses
"Exclude individuals with a positive viral test until at least 24 hours after fever has resolved without the use of fever-reducing medicines and symptoms are significantly improving"
CDC Respiratory Virus Guidance:

COVID change: "Recommends that people stay home and away from others until at least 24 hours after both their symptoms are getting better overall, and they have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication)"
The guidance also encourages added precautions for five days after time at home, including cleaner air, enhanced hygiene practices, wearing a well-fitting mask, keeping a distance from others, and getting tested for respiratory viruses.
Additional changes will likely continue in preparation for the 2024-2025 schoolyear, we will update you accordingly.
