I live in Lancaster, SC with my wife Liz and our son Aidan. I began my career as a welder when I was in high school taking this very course. I have been a welder for 32 years and have taught welding at the LCSD Career Center for 20 of those years. Prior to becoming a welding teacher I worked as a pipe welder for Springs Industries. I enjoy sharing my welding knowledge with students and look forward to a great year!

Welding Pathway Sequence
Students at the 4 Lancaster County high schools have the option of signing up for the Welding pathway that is offered here at the LCSD Career Center. This program is dual credit with York Technical College and gives students the opportunity to have their Basic Welding certificate upon completion of the pathway. Students are completers when they have completed Welding 1, Welding 2, Welding 3 and Welding 4.
