Hello Students, Parents and/or Guardians,

I am the college adviser at LHS through the College Advising Corps program.

My main objective is to help students navigate the complex college admissions process. My role at LHS is to work with administration, teachers, and guidance to ensure that our students are applying to higher education institutions that are the best match and fit for each student. As an adviser, I hope to expose students to more post-secondary opportunities.

My job consists of working with students and families on a one-on-one level or group setting to:

· Research and build college lists.

· Complete and apply for scholarships and financial aid.

· Register for SAT/ ACT.

· Prepare college related workshops.

· Connect students to their college choices through college admission representatives, college/campus visits, and college fairs.

· Help students complete college applications.

I am a 2014 graduate of Lancaster High School, and I am so excited to be returning to my alma mater as a College Adviser. In May 2018, I graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. I am thrilled to be additional support to both students and parents this year!

College Advising Corps is a national non-profit organization that works to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students who enter and complete higher education.
