Jerry Honeycutt is originally from Greensboro, NC. He attended Appalachian State University and the University of South Carolina. He has 27 years of experience in teaching Physical Education in South Carolina and North Carolina. As a teacher, Jerry was named the 2019 and 2012 South Carolina State High School PE Teacher Of the Year. He was also the 2016 South Carolina State Middle School PE Teacher Of the Year. He is a former coach for 24 years (Football, Wrestling, Softball, Soccer, Track). As a Coach, Jerry has been an assistant Varsity Wrestling coach of the 2000 South Carolina 4A State Champions, as well as, the 2004 and 2005 South Carolina 4A State Runner-Ups. He was also an assistant Varsity Football coach for the 2002 and 2004 South Carolina 4A State Champions.
Jerry is a National Presenter for ADA Sports and Rackets. He is a National Wrestling Official. He resides in Tega Cay, South Carolina and has a daughter named Faith.
