Paleolithic and Neolithic

The Paleolithic Age refers to the Old Stone Age, Paleo meaning old and lithic meaning stone. This all happened around 2.6 million years ago to 10,000 years ago. During the Old Stone Age the people were nomadic in small groups. These same people were also Hunter-Gatherers. The Neolithic Age refers to the New Stone Age, Neo meaning new and lithic meaning stone. The Neolithic Era began around 10,000 B.C. and ended around 4,500-2,000 B.C.. It ended at different times around the world. During the New Stone Age the people became settled down and moved from hunter-gatherers to farmers.
