NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month. Taking place in November, the initial goal of NaNoWriMo is to set a word count goal at the beginning of the month, write an entire story throughout the month, and meet the goal by the end of the month. The typical goal for an adult is 50,000 words, but you can set it at any amount. After November ends, our club still meets to edit our stories, complete writing exercises, and further develop our plot and characters. Being in a group allows us to share our ideas and encourage one another's creativity. By supporting each other's efforts, we are fostering a comfortable and friendly environment where all ideas are welcome and safe and our hard work is appreciated.
