Schoology is the resource that teachers and school staff member use to help organize and provide your student with the educational resources necessary for their daily success. There are two types of structures that Schoology uses to help school personnel to organize this recourses. These two structures are called Courses and Groups
You can use the navigational toolbar at the top of your Schoology page to access Courses and Groups. Below you will find a break down of how teachers and school staff use these different structures.
A Schoology Course is created for each of the classes that your student is taking in their annual schedule.
A Schoology Course is the place were teachers will be able to supply your student with digital resources or course materials. Assignments, assessments, tests and quizzes can all all be assignment and completed by your students in a Schoology Course.
Students can access other educational technology tools, such as digital textbooks, interactive tools, and media resources through their assigned Schoology Course.
A Schoology Group is often created for clubs and other extracurricular groups that your student can join and be a part of.
A Schoology Group will often provide links and resources that your student might need as a member of said club or extracurricular group.
