Profesora Biggers teaches Spanish levels 2, 3, and 5H. She is a proud PRIDE member of the “Charter Faculty” that opened Heritage in 2002. Profesora Biggers has a Masters Degree in Teaching from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her Bachelor of Arts is in Spanish and Latin American Studies from George Mason University. She has studied in Spain on numerous occasions and traveled throughout Spain, but her favorite was a Spring semester in Seville, Spain! Additionally, she lived in Germany for two years and has traveled extensively, mainly in Europe, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Having trained and worked as a Medical/Social Services Interpreter she has volunteered her services at Free Clinics since 1998 and has accompanied medical teams to Mexico. She is also an AP Spanish Reader for the College Board. Previous to teaching, Profesora Biggers worked on Political and Military issues for the Department of Army (Intelligence Division) as a civilian employee.

- Cell Phone Policy: Cell phones must be in backpacks or in the phone caddy during class time. Students cannot use phones at any time during class, including during bathroom breaks.
