Heritage provides students with a high-quality music education, focusing on not just the regular performaces, but also in pushing students to become the best musician they can become, regardless of their goals after high school. The rigorous music program has enabled our graduates the opportunity to pursue music as a hobby in college, while also helping other students study music on scholarship at schools such as the Eastman School of Music, LSU, USC, Memphis University, Boston Conservatory, Shendoah Conservatory of Music, and so on.

The Heritage Music Boosters conduct fundraising to meet the needs of the band program and countless hours of volunteer support ranging from uniform maintenance, providing refreshments and logistical support moving the band.

Giving Back

Each year, the Heritage Orchestra (and other music programs at Heritage) provide small ensembles for performances at nursing homes and retirement communities, holiday caroling in our local malls and shopping areas, provide fund-raising for local charities, and generally try to find ways to bring the joy of music to our surrounding commuinty.
