Hello! I am the Technology Coach (Instructional Technology Resource Teacher) at Louisa County High School and Jouett Elementary School.
I started my teaching career at LCHS in 2000. During my 12 years at LCHS I taught DE Biology 101 and 102, BRVGS Biotechnology, and Chemistry. After moving to Nelson County in 2012, I taught DE Biology 101, Chemistry, Physics, and BRVGS Computer Science at Nelson County High School for 5 years. While at NCHS, my duties included teaching technology related professional development sessions to teachers as well as assisting teachers implement technology in their classrooms. I earned my undergraduate B.S. degree in Molecular Biology from Fairfield University and my Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Virginia. I am currently endorsed in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Gifted and Talented.
I am planning on being at JES on Mondays and Wednesdays and LCHS on Tuesdays and Fridays. My schedule is flexible so I will happily adjust it based on teacher needs. Please check my calendar below to confirm where I am. It is updated daily. If you would like to schedule a specific time for me to work with you and your classes, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. My phone extension is 7221.
