Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year. It is exciting to be returning for my second year of teaching at LCCS. This year I am teaching Geometry, Geometry PreAP, Precalculus, Honors Statistics, and AP Calculus. I am also serving as the Math Department Chair for this academic year. I am looking forward to serving in these roles this year.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with an emphasis in Electronics and Telecommunications in 1995 from Texas A&M University. I knew that I had been called to be a teacher when I was just a young girl, but I did spend a few years working in the Telecommunications industry before starting my teaching career. This year will be my 10th year to teach high school math. Our family spent 11 years serving our Lord in Northern Thailand, and I taught at an international school in Chiang Rai during most of that time.

My love for math and learning has enabled me to continue to develop my philosophy of education. I know that working with students of all strengths is both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to the upcoming school year, and the adventures that await us. Please do not hesitate to contact if you have questions or concerns.
