I am so excited for what this year holds at LCCS. I am beginning my 14th year of teaching and my 13th at Lake Country. However, before that I experienced LCCS as a student. In fact, my wife and I both graduated from LCCS in 2001. After that, we attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX where I received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Communication and a Texas State Teaching Certificate. Once we were married and moved back to our hometown of Fort Worth, I continued my education at The University of Dallas and earned a Masters of English. The Lord brought me to LCCS in 2007 as the English Department Chair and an English Teacher. Since then, He has taken me on quite a journey here at LCCS. In addition to those positions, I have served as the Academic Coordinator, Academic Dean, Director of Educational Technology, Director of Innovation, and I now serve as the Dean of Middle and High Schools. I have always had a passion for technology and the ways that it impacts our world. I believe, when used correctly, it is a virtually limitless tool in the classroom. I am very excited to be a part of the first round of Dual Credit courses to be offered at LCCS. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have. I am here because of and for each and every one of you.
