Starting in Kindergarten, students at St. Patrick learn to keep a steady beat, understand rhythm, play a variety of classroom instruments, as well as engage in proper singing technique. Our students gain a solid foundation in the junior years in order to set them up for success on the violin, which starts in grade 3. This year, some grade 3 classes will be taught by Ms. Ashley, but they will still be learning to play the violin.

Please note that the CLASS app and the FAMILY app are not the same (see video)
Sign into Seesaw Class, using the information provided to you by their homeroom teacher. Then click on you child's name in the corner to select Music from the dropdown menu. You must go between the classes in order to see and submit work to each teacher.

Seesaw Class app allows students to interact with materials created by the teacher and record and send pictures and video with ease.
Seesaw Family app allows parents to receive notifications from the teacher and send and receive messages.
Miss Jen and Ms. Ashley will be sending out the Google Classroom codes soon. Your child will also be added directly to Google Classroom, but must accept the request to join Grade 3 Music.
Please note: K / 1 /2 Will be using Seesaw this year
Grades 3- 6 will be using Google Classroom
