The LBNL Director's Stewardship Summit is returning this January 2024 - Apply now!

The Director's Stewardship Summit, which was piloted with 150 participants from across the Lab in August 2021 and then again with a cohort of 75 participants in July 2022, is an intensive multi-day online leadership & management program to ignite the potential in who you are, how you lead, and the cultures you create. It is designed specifically for Berkeley Lab's diverse community of emerging and experienced managers and leaders.

The hybrid, multi-part workshop, coupled with six months of follow-up meetings and culminating in a graduation, uses digital tools like Google and Zoom to engage a cohort of up to 150 participants over the course of an immersive experience

The Director's Stewardship Summit is led by a cadre of facilitators & mentors, who engage participants in individual and group work. The program is synchronous, with deadlines, group discussions & practicums, and live workshops and breakouts. The program is based entirely online, with participants joining from their homes or together onsite in Building 50.

The Summit is run by Berkeley Lab's Learning & Culture Office on behalf of the Directorate

Admission is by application only.
