In support of the cooling infrastructure upgrade in building 50B, the Facilities and Projects & Infrastructure Modernization Divisions are planning to perform an electrical shutdown that will have direct impacts on normal power in buildings 50B and 50F.

• 50B and 50F

TIMING

• Monday, October 28th, 4:00 a.m. - Friday, November 1st, 4:00 p.m. Utility and standby power are shut off.  The buildings cannot be occupied during this shutdown. 

FOR BUILDING TENANTS

• All building tenants are asked to place equipment in safe and stable mode prior to the start of the outage on Monday, October 28th, 4:00 a.m. Use this guidance from EHS to prepare your lab or technical area. 

• The buildings will not be occupiable during the power outage between Monday, October 28th - Friday, November 1st. If you require emergency access, contact the Site Operations Center.
