Session Info: This session will focus on both challenges and opportunities related to these critical zone/watershed networks that have been established in many countries, including in the US, France, Germany, and Canada. This session will include two slides providing an overview of the CZ network, followed by a discussion of the innovative aspects, exciting science, challenges of understanding and predicting such systems, including associated science questions, tools and approaches.

Session Info: This session will focus on the value of experimental capabilities, instruments and user facilities in enabling critical zone science. The goals for this session are to facilitate access to these resources, enhance collaborations between the user-facilities and the CZ research community, as well as to highlight their role in advancing critical zone science.
