“CAFETERIA”

When you first get to LA’s Best, we are at the cafeteria. We’re there because we line up for food. So that we all don’t get crowded into one big line, our coaches tell us when to line up for snacks. We have tables for every group: Group 1 is kindergarten - 1st grade, Group 2 is 2nd-3rd, and Group 3 is 4th - 5th.

“QUIET TIME”

Quiet time is homework time and we do our homework right after we're done eating. Our coaches help us whenever they can.

For homework time, we get about 1 hour to do our homework. If we finish early, we get to the next activity our coach has planned for us. You can only talk to each other if it's about homework. That is a good way to keep LA’s Best quiet!

¨ACTIVITY¨

During activity time the coaches have something planned for us. Since it is the Fall Season, they might give us a spooky activity! If our coach doesn't have anything planned for us, we just watch fish hooks or a movie! After we do our activity or watch the movie/show, at about 5:00pm, we go outside.

¨OUTSIDE¨

We head outside at about 5:00pm. Everyone is full of energy because this is basically our free time to finally be able to play and talk to our friends. It's basically 5 o´clock fun for us! Once 5 o´clock fun time is over, we go to the front gate.

¨THE END OF THE DAY¨

Once 5 o´clock fun time is over, we go to the front gate and we find a crown on the floor and we sit on one. Everybody talks to their friends while they wait for their guardians. If your guardian takes too long to arrive, you have to sit down in the office. If your guardian takes way too long, the coaches end up calling them, but at the end of the day, everybody goes home!
