San Fernando/ Sylmar
Community of Schools
Message From Eduardo Solorzano, Community of Schools Administrator
Welcome to the San Fernando-Sylmar Community of Schools. Thank you for your support and understanding as we respond to the unexpected pandemic. I am very proud of the way our students, parents, staff, and community leaders came together to keep everyone safe as we continued to educate and provide resources to our students and families during these unprecedented times.
I am humbled to serve the communities of San Fernando and Sylmar. In transitioning to the community of schools model, it is important we acknowledge and build on the strong roots of the community, while working to meet the needs of the students and families we serve. Our goal is to maintain an open communication and welcome your ideas to support our communities. I believe that in order to help our students achieve their greatest potential we all need to work collaboratively to provide for students’ academic, social, and emotional needs. I look forward to our collaboration.
